This policy explains what KOP Mold Removal collects when you use this website or call our line, what we do with it, and what we do not do with it. It is written to be read rather than to be impenetrable.
The Short Version
- There is no contact form on this website and we do not collect email addresses through it.
- If you call us, we collect what you tell us — typically your name, phone number, property location and a description of your situation.
- If you ask for a referral, we share that information with the contractor we refer you to. That is the point of the service.
- We do not sell your information to data brokers or list resellers.
- We do not run a follow-up marketing sequence. If you call for advice and decline a referral, we do not chase you.
Information We Collect
Information you give us on the phone
When you call, we typically record: your name; a callback number; the property address or at least the municipality; a description of the problem; and, where relevant, the age and type of the building and any insurance or transaction context you volunteer. We collect this in order to have a useful conversation and, if you want one, to make an appropriate referral.
Information collected automatically by the website
Like most websites, this one is served through infrastructure that logs basic technical information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages visited, and timestamps. This is used for security, to diagnose faults, and to understand in aggregate which pages are useful. It is not used to build an individual profile of you.
Cookies and analytics
This site is a static website and does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Where third-party services are used — for example a web font provider, or a privacy-respecting analytics service — those services may receive your IP address and basic request information as a technical necessity of delivering the content. You can block cookies and third-party requests in your browser; the site is designed to work without them.
How We Use It
- To answer your question during the free phone consultation.
- To make a referral to an independent contractor, where you ask for one.
- To follow up on a referral where you have asked us to, or where there is a problem with a contractor.
- To maintain and improve this website.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Who We Share It With
Contractors in our network, when and only when you have asked for a referral. We share what is needed for them to contact you and understand the job: name, phone number, property location and the description of the problem.
Service providers who operate our telephone system and website infrastructure, to the extent technically necessary.
Legal authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or lead resellers.
How Long We Keep It
Call records and referral details are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service and to resolve any dispute about a referral, and then deleted. Website server logs are retained for a short period for security and diagnostic purposes.
Your Choices
- You can call without giving your name. If you only want general advice, you do not have to identify yourself or the property. We will still answer the question.
- You can ask us to delete your information. Call (610) 702-8235 and ask.
- You can decline a referral at any point, in which case we have no further reason to hold your details.
- You can block cookies and third-party requests in your browser without breaking this site.
Contractors Are Separate Businesses
Once we refer you to a contractor, that contractor is an independent business with its own privacy practices, and any information you give them directly is governed by their policy rather than this one. We encourage you to ask them about it.
Children
This service is directed at property owners and occupiers and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. Please do not send us financial account details, payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or similar sensitive identifiers — we have no need for them, and no contractor should ask you for them before a contract is agreed.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted on this page.
